Brief

This Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Intelligent Vehicle Technology will develop comprehensive technology solutions for Indian automotive safety systems. Key developments include AI/ML models trained specifically for Indian traffic objects and infrastructure detection, cost-effective vision/radar-based Front Collision Warning System (FCWS), and alert-to-mitigation adaptation for Automatic Emergency Brake System (AEBS). This CoE will drive indigenous development through: • Development of ADAS system prototypes • Creation of software algorithms • Establishment of advanced system development infrastructure • Development of frameworks for deployment, digitalization and validation for Indian road and traffic scenarios
