Karnataka is the major manufacturing hub and contributes around 50% of machine tool manufacturing business in India. The vision is to provide an industrial layout of World class standards with state of the art facilities. Being developed on a land of 530 Acres, this would be the 1st exclusive park for machine tool industry. Coming up in close proximity to Bengaluru city (90 Kms.) this has other logistical advantages being close to nearest railway station (5Kms.) and Mangalore Port (350 Kms).

The TMTP is envisage to cater to Machine Tool industries, Producers of accessories, Attachments, Sub-systems and Components such as CNC Systems, Ball Screws, Linear Guides, Motors & Drives, and other aggregates of machine tools, along with supply chain units as well as service providers to the industry. The project is being implemented by an SPV of Tumakuru Machine Tool Park, Government of Karnataka and DHI.
